The alien main battle tank. Dual vortex cannons can be configured to fire anything from harmless blasts of air to knock people over, to plasma blasts able to melt almost any armour. An underslung laser takes care of anything else. Its armour is almost impervious, reacting to incoming fire, and spreading the force over a large area. Most bullets simply bounce off it, and the tank's stable posture ensures taht it will be able to return fire immediately.
